PADI Courses

  • PADI Discover Rebreathers. An experience dive conducted in a pool, or alternative controlled environment. For divers aged at least 18, certified as PADI Open Water Diver or with a qualifying certification from another training organization, and a minimum 15 logged dives. 5m/15 feet maximum depth.
  • PADI Rebreather Diver (PRD). 1 confined water dive plus 1 confined or open water dive plus 4 open water dives (6 total), and minimum total dive time of 200 minutes. For divers aged at least 18, certified as PADI Open Water Diver and PADI Enriched Air Diver or with qualifying certifications from another training organization, and a minimum 25 logged dives. 18m/60 feet maximum depth within no-decompression limits. Simple responses to problems.
  • PADI Advanced Rebreather Diver (PARD). 1 confined water dive plus 4 open water dives (5 total), and minimum total dive time of 240 minutes. For divers aged at least 18, certified as PADI Open Water Diver and PADI Rebreather Diver (Discovery MKVI) before starting the course and Advanced Open Water Diver by the end of the course or with qualifying certifications from another training organization, and a minimum 30 logged dives. 30m/100 feet maximum depth within no-decompression limits. For PADI Rebreather Divers or equivalent. Expands on your basic knowledge. Teaches bailout cylinder use to 30m/100 feet max, or 40m/130 feet max with PADI Deep Diver or equivalent. Responses to problems related to bailout from greater depth.
  • PADI Rebreather Qualifier program. For divers wishing to cross-over to another Type R rebreather. Minimum 1 confined water dive plus open water dives (PRD X 2 dives; PARD X 3 dives), and minimum total dive time of 100 minutes (PRD) and 140 minutes (PARD). Participants aged at least 18 must meet all prerequisites for the PADI Rebreather Diver and/or Advanced Rebreather Diver course plus be qualified as PADI Rebreather Diver or PADI Advanced Rebreather Diver or have a qualifying rebreather diver certification on another Type R or Type T rebreather from a recognized organization. Divers entering the program with a qualifying certification from another organization must meet additional requirements. Maximum depth as PADI Rebreather Diver and/or Advanced Rebreather Diver courses.
  • PADI Rebreather Refresher. The Scuba Review for recreational rebreather skills. Minimum 1 confined water dive. Participants aged at least 18 must meet all prerequisites for the PADI Rebreather Diver and/or Advanced Rebreather Diver course plus be qualified as PADI Rebreather Diver or PADI Advanced Rebreather Diver (Discovery MKVI) or have a qualifying rebreather diver certification (Discovery MKVI) from a recognized organization. 5m/15 feet maximum depth.
  • PADI Rebreather Instructor. Four Instructor Trainer-lead curriculum presentations + two in water staff demonstrations + two confined water teaching presentations + two practical application presentations + two knowledge development presentations + one open water teaching presentation integrating two skills + PADI Rebreather and Advanced Rebreather Instructor Exam + one practical application coaching session + Waterskills Evaluation + PADI Rebreather Diver Rescue Workshop. For instructors aged at least 18, certified as PADI Instructor, PADI Enriched Air Instructor, PADI Deep Diver Specialty Instructor and PADI Advanced Rebreather Diver (Discovery MKVI), or have a qualifying certification from another training organization, and a minimum 150 logged dives, of which at least 75 dives were made on a rebreather, with at least 50 dives and 50 hours on the Discovery MKVI.
  • PADI Rebreather Instructor (Additional Unit). One Instructor Trainer-lead curriculum presentation + one confined water teaching presentation + one practical application presentation + one knowledge development presentation + PADI Rebreather Instructor Exam + one practical application coaching session + Waterskills Evaluation. For instructors aged at least 18, certified as PADI Instructor, and PADI Rebreather Instructor on one Type R rebreather (or Type T CCR with some additional requirements). Meet all the prerequisites for the PADI Rebreather Instructor Course plus be a renewed current PADI Rebreather Instructor or higher level PADI Tec CCR Instructor and have a minimum of 30 dives and 30 hours on the Discovery MKVI.
  • PADI Rebreather Instructor Crossover. Two Instructor Trainer-lead curriculum presentations + one confined water teaching presentation + one practical application presentation + one knowledge development presentation + PADI Rebreather Instructor Exam + one practical application coaching session + Waterskills Evaluation + PADI Rebreather Diver Rescue Workshop. For instructors aged at least 18, certified as a Rebreather Instructor on the Discovery MKVI with another recognized training organization. Meet all the prerequisites for the PADI Rebreather Instructor Course.

UECO Courses

  • Discover CCR. An experience dive usually conducted in the pool, but also available in open water. For qualified divers aged at least 12, with an Open Water Diver certification or equivalent via any approved international diver training agency, with a minimum of 4 logged dives.
  • CCR18 Diver. Completion of the e-Study modules plus 1 confined water dive plus a minimum of 3 open water dives over 2 days. For qualified divers aged at least 12, with Open Water Diver certification or equivalent via any approved international diver training agency, and a minimum 10 logged dives.
  • CCR30 Diver. Completion of the e-Study modules plus 1 confined water dive plus a minimum of 3 open water dives over 2 days. For qualified divers aged at least 12, with Advanced Open Water Diver and CCR18 Diver (Discovery MKVI) certifications or equivalent via any approved international diver training agency, and a minimum 20 logged dives. Junior CCR30 Diver are limited to 21 metres until they reach 15 years.
  • CCR18-30 Diver. Completion of the e-Study modules plus 1 confined water dive plus a minimum of 3 open water dives over 2-3 days. For qualified divers aged at least 12, with Advanced Open Water Diver certification or equivalent via any approved international diver training agency, and a minimum 20 logged dives. Junior CCR30 Diver are limited to 21 metres until they reach 15 years. Both courses are combined, but a separate certification card is issued for each course.
  • CCR40 Diver. Completion of the e-Study modules plus 1 confined water dive plus a minimum of 3 open water dives over 2 days. For qualified divers aged at least 15, with Advanced Open Water Diver, Deep Diver (to 40m), CCR18 Diver (Discovery MKVI) and CCR30 Diver (Discovery MKVI) certifications or equivalent via any approved international diver training agency, and a minimum 30 logged dives.
  • CCR30-40 Diver. Completion of the e-Study modules plus 1 confined water dive plus a minimum of 3 open water dives over 2-3 days. For qualified divers aged at least 15, with Advanced Open Water Diver, Deep Diver (to 40m), and CCR18 Diver (Discovery MKVI) certifications or equivalent via any approved international diver training agency, and a minimum 30 logged dives. Both courses are combined, but a separate certification card is issued for each course.
  • CCR18-30-40 Diver. Completion of the e-Study modules plus 1 confined water dive plus a minimum of 3 open water dives over 2-4 days. For qualified divers aged at least 15, with Advanced Open Water Diver, and Deep Diver (to 40m) certifications or equivalent via any approved international diver training agency, and a minimum 30 logged dives. All 3 courses are combined, but a separate certification card is issued for each course.
  • CCR Instructor. Completion of the e-Study diver and instructor modules plus assigned teaching presentations over at least 1 day. For qualified open-circuit instructors via any approved international diver training agency, aged at least 18, with a recreational CCR Diver certification to 40 metres (Discovery MKVI), and a minimum 100 logged dives.
  • CCR Instructor Trainer. Completion of the e-Study diver, instructor and instructor trainer modules plus assigned teaching presentations over at least 2 days. For qualified open-circuit master instructors or instructor trainers via any approved international diver training agency, aged at least 21, with a recreational CCR Instructor certification to 40 metres (Discovery MKVI), and a minimum 200 logged dives.
